PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a driving pump at the time of high water distribution by simple controlling. SOLUTION: A direct coupled water supply type water supply device is devised to stop a pump in the middle of driving at the time of high water distribution by simply controlling even in a state where rated water supply quantity flows in the inside of the pump by providing a means 21y to stop driving of the pump when a state where discharge pressure of the pump becomes not less than target pressure continues for a certain period of time at the time of high water distribution (when suction pressure becomes higher than target pressure).
