PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make so as to capable of surely and easily discriminating whether a recording medium is a rightfully prepared original or not, so that a copyright of a provider of information recorded on the recording medium consisting of a read-only recording area and the writable recording area is protected. SOLUTION: By a write circuit 4 of this recording/reproducing device, a collating ID which is information for confirming an original of a hybrid CD, is prepared based on the recognition ID reproduced from a ROM part of the hybrid CD mounted on a CD-R/RW drive 1, the device ID read out from a PC 5 and the time measured by the PC 5, then this collating ID is recorded on a storage part of the hybrid CD mounted on the CD-R/RW drive 1. |
