PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control unit wherein cost is reduced by decreasing the number of components and control is stable, and a control method. SOLUTION: This motor control unit detects a current output of an IPM motor 1 having a current detecting part 5, obtains current phase information, reads sine wave data corresponding to an aimed velocity set with a setting part 9 of number of revolutions from a sine wave data table 10, outputs the sine wave data 13 and voltage phase information 14 with a sine wave data forming part 11, detects phase difference between detected current phase information 15 and the voltage phase information 14 with a phase detecting part 7, multiplies the difference between the phase difference and phase difference reference by gain, gives voltage data 16 to a PWM forming part 12, forms a PWM signal with a PWM forming part 12, and drives the IPM motor 1 with an inverter circuit 2. |
