<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a high breakdown voltage transformer. SOLUTION: This high breakdown voltage transformer 1 comprises a primary coil and a secondary coil arranged at an insulating distance corresponding to a high voltage applied across these coils 30, and a magnetic substance for suppressing the increase of leakage flux. The high voltage applied across the coils 30 of the transformer 1 is evenly divided at a plurality of stages, thereby to provide a plurality of low breakdown voltage transformers, having insulating distances corresponding to respective ones of the divided voltage. The plurality of low breakdown voltage transformers are connected in series with one another.</p> |
