PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable cover for protecting a terminal fitting. SOLUTION: A protective cover 20 is formed of a sheath part 21 provided with an opening part 22 at a back end, and a male side terminal fitting 10 is housed in a terminal housing hole 23, and whereby whole of the male side terminal fitting 10 is covered and protected. This sheath part 21 is provided with a locking plate 30 capable of closing the opening part 22 by means of a hinge part 24 so as to open/close the locking plate 30. After the male side terminal fitting 10 is inserted in the terminal housing hole 23 of the sheath part 21, the locking plate 30 is rotated to the anti-clockwise direction, and a locking claw 37 of the locking plate 30 side and a locking protrusion part 25 of the sheath part 21 are engaged with each other, and the locking plate 30 is locked in a closing condition, and then the slipping-off of the male side terminal fitting 10 is restricted.
