PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera device and a cartridge film constituted so that the residual quantity of a silver salt film can be easily and surely confirmed. SOLUTION: The memory part 330 of a film cartridge 300 is constituted of a 1st to a 3rd storage parts 332, 334 and 336. In the 1st storage part 332, residual quantity information showing the number of photographed sheets and the number of unphotographed sheets of the silver salt film housed in the cartridge 300 is stored. In the 2nd storage part 334, photographing time information consisting of a date and time (time, minute and second) at which the photographing actions of the respective frames of the film are executed by a camera main body 100 is stored. In the 3rd storage part 336, abnormal state information showing whether an abnormal state is caused or not when the photographing action is executed by the main body 100 is stored. The respective information are written by being inputted to the memory part 330 from a controller 200 and read out from the memory 330 to the control part 200.
