PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a disadvantage that a heat exchanger part of a bath heater acts as a radiator to cool down hot water in a bathtub during a stop of combustion, in regard to the bathtub equipped with the bath heater. SOLUTION: A main body part 5 is formed by opening the back and the top and by integrating the front, the right and left sides and the bottom in a monocoque, and the end edge of the back opening part is bonded to the inner wall of a bathtub 1. The device constituted thereby covers the opening end of a lower piping 4 out of two upper and lower pipings 3 and 4 connecting the bathtub 1 and a bath heater 2, while the upper opening part is disposed at the same level as the lowermost position of the inner periphery of the upper piping 3 or above the position.
