PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for growing high-quality clear bulk crystals by realizing a rapid growth speed, that is, a rapid transportation speed of a solute in the growth of crystals of a compound of low solubility. SOLUTION: A fundamental liquid 1 formed of a solution containing a bulk crystal material or a bulk crystal solvent and a substrate 2 are caused to make a relative movement to form a wet liquid layer 5 on the substrate 2. At the same time, compound components of a bulk crystal are continuously supplied to the wet liquid layer 5 to grow bulk crystals. For example, a solution containing at least one of component of the bulk crystal is used for the fundamental liquid 1. This solution is placed in an atmospheric gas 3 containing other compound components. The atmospheric gas 3 and the formed wet liquid gas 5 are reacted with each other, and a compound is synthesized. |
