PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate difference in the polarization direction of an electrolytic capacitor or the like, without decreasing insertion tact and to prevent continuous mounting failure due to the placement errors for polarized parts by detecting and discriminating the polarity direction of the polarized parts, such as an electrolytic capacitor by the use of processing. SOLUTION: When a part supply part 10 for supplying electronic components 1 and a component insertion means for fetching the electronic components from the component supply part 10 and inserting them into a printed-circuit board 50 are provided, the electronic component inserting machine is equipped with a component recognizing camera 71 for picking up image at a stage prior to insertion of the electronic components 1 being supplied from the component supply part 10 into the printed-circuit board 50 and an image processing device 75 for comparing the picked up image of the camera 71 with a proper electronic component image to be inserted into the printed circuit board 50 for discriminating the propriety of the shape or the polarity direction of the electronic component being supplied from the part supply part. |
