ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner using a flash fixing process capable of reducing occurrence of malodor without being restricted in selection of material such as a binder resin and additives and without impairing good image quality. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner to be used for electrophotographic image-forming device using flash fixing process can reduce malodor by incorporating a substance having photocatalytic characteristics in a toner composition containing a binder resin and a colorant and the like and oxidizing a malodorous gas by the above substance activated by flash light emitted at the time of a fixing process. In is preferred that the photocatalytic substance is almost uniformly mixed by melting it into the toner composition and kneading them. As the photocatalytic substance, an anatase type titanium oxide is optimum and it is contained in an amount of 5-30 weight % of the binder resin.
