SOLUTION: In this portable telephone system under the control of a CPU 1, an RAM 10 is provided with a responding method table part TM, a transmission message part SM, and a reception message part RM, and messages in several ways are preliminarily set in the transmission message part SM, and the telephone number of the other party which is expected to call and which message of the transmission message part SM can be set as a message to be transmitted in response to the call is stored in the responding method table part TM, and the message is transmitted according to the storage information of the responding method table part TM at the time of an incoming call, and then a message transmitted form the calling side is stored in the reception message part RM. |
