PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber sensor capable of monitoring efficiently all the time scouring for a riverside and a coast, various kinds of levee all bodies and the like such as a river embankment and a tide embankment. SOLUTION: Split bodies 13 in each of which a remaining length 12a of an optical fiber 12 is curvedly stored between a pair flexible tape-like or sheet- like laminate material to be sandwiched from its both sides so as to hermetically sealed water-tightly are continuously arranged plurally in series in the same optical fiber 12, and the optical fiber 12 is led out outsides from the respective split bodies 13 positioned in the both ends. The optical fiber 12 excellent in excecutability, conveyability, and connectability to an optical path for monitoring is provided thereby.
