A lancing pen comprising a hollow body containing disposable lancets, is new. The lancets may be stacked together to form a column within the body. After use, each lancet is removed from the front of the stack and attached to the back of the stack. The body is made in a single piece and is disposed of when all the lancets have been used. The stack may be advanced by a spring-loaded button at the end of the pen. A removable cover protects the front of the stack prior to first use of the pen. A pivoting stop member is used as a stop at one end engaging the lancet at the front of the stack while stationary, and a second stop for limiting the forward movement of the moving stack. |
