The oven (1) consists of a square box, with an air inlet (4,40) in the roof (18), drawing air from a channel (6) supplied with air by an external blower (20). There is a rotary fan (8) on the rear wall (16) of the oven, which pushes vapor-laden air into an outlet channel (14) containing a damper (11). When the damper is closed, the fan circulates the air round the interior of the oven. The outlet channel debouches into the airstream produced by the external fan, downstream of the air inlet for the oven. The air channel tapers to a narrow exit slit over the door.
