PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color tone correction device for video signals, that can easily adjust hue and saturation independently of each R, G, B colors. SOLUTION: This color tone correction device is provided with subtractors 101-103 that output a color difference signal, a hue discrimination circuit 104 that discriminates the hue of a video signal, selector circuits 105-110 that output a multiplication coefficient corresponding to the result of discrimination, multipliers 111, 114 that multiply a (R-G) color difference signal with outputs of the selector circuits 105, 108, multipliers 112, 115 that multiply a (G-B) color difference signal with outputs of the selector circuits 106, 109, multipliers 113, 116 that multiply a (B-R) color difference signal with outputs of the selector circuits 107, 110, adders 117, 120 that add outputs of the multipliers 111, 116 to a video signal R, adders 118, 121 that add outputs of the multipliers 112, 114 to a video signal G, and adders 119, 122 that add outputs of the multipliers 113, 115 to a video signal B, where R is red, B is blue and G is green.
