PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an article carrying-out device of an automatic vending machine which holds articles on an article rack always in a proper attitude and smoothly carries article out. SOLUTION: The automatic carrying-out device of the automatic vending machine has an article width restricting device which has the article rack where articles are arrayed in the front-rear direction on the top surface and extends along both the right and left flanks of the article rack. In this case, the article width restricting device has an article width restricting plate 441 which extends along both the right and left flanks of each article rack and restricts article width and an article width varying device 442 which freely moves the article width restricting plate 441 to the right and left. Consequently, each article width restricting plate 441 is movable to an arbitrary position by the article width varying device 442, so the width of each article width restricting plate 441 can properly be adapted to various different article widths, and consequently articles can smoothly be carried out.
