PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the attaching and detaching device for an operation member wherein the operation member is easily disengaged in the state that the operation member is protruded in front of an equipment main body and is temporarily stacked. SOLUTION: When locking by a lock member 31 is released in the state that an operation member 20 is attached to an equipment main body 10, a protruding member 35 is turned by force of a torsion spring 34 and the operation member 20 is protruded in front of the equipment main body 10. The projected part 38 protruding upward from the protruding member 35 is fitted into the recessed part 44 of the operation member 20 in this state. The operation member 20 is surely temporarily stacked by fitting from the vertical direction, and also the operation member 20 is easily disengaged from the temporarily stacked state.
