PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type voice guide with which each individual can listen to voice information related to a plurality of subjects with a simple operation. SOLUTION: The portable type voice guide device 1 providing prescribed information related to a plurality of subjects with the voices is equipped with a semiconductor memory 2 storing the prescribed information related to the respective subjects in relation to symbols allocated to the respective subjects, an input means 4 for inputting the respective symbols, output means 5 and 6 for voice-outputting the prescribed information stored in the semiconductor memory, and a control means 7 reading out the prescribed information in relation to the symbols from the storage means and voice-outputting by the output means 5, 6.
