CLEANING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner from leaking from the end part of a cleaning blade and to prevent the toner from leaking from the end faces of the both end parts of an image carrier. SOLUTION: This cleaning device 20 removes remaining toner sticking on the image carrier 10 and obtained after image processing. In this case, both end parts of the cleaning blade 21 on a position where the leading end part of the blade 21 abuts on the outside peripheral surface of the carrier 10 are pressed against both end parts of the carrier 10 by pressing members 27R and 27F.
