PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit free document expression for practical use through easy operation using ten-key buttons by converting a number and symbol sequence inputted with the ten-key buttons into a proper word document through a conversion dictionary. SOLUTION: A dial input part 10 sends the depression signal of the ten-key buttons (dial button) out to the succeeding stage. The conversion dictionary 16 contains word document data which can be assumed previously corresponding to number and symbol sequences. A data conversion part 15 converts a number and symbol sequence inputted with the ten-key buttons into a proper word document through the conversion dictionary 16. A conversion result display part 19 displays word document data selected at the data conversion part 15 on a monitor device. A proofreading process part 17 allows the user to select one piece of word document data with a ten-key button when pieces of word document data are selected at the data conversion part 15. A learning process part (extraction and registration part 18) moves up the conversion candidate order of the word character data, selected at the proofreading process part 17, in the conversion dictionary 16.
