<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer stable in a charge amount and not causing a spent toner nor filming nor scratches of a photoreceptor and good in half-tone reproducibility and capable of forming an image high in precision even after used for long term. SOLUTION: The developer contains a colorant, a binder resin, titanium oxide, silica having a BET specific surface area of <=50 m2/g, and a metal soap having a volume average particle diameter of <=5μm. The developer is used in combination with a bicomponent full color developing system by applying development bias of overlaying DC on AC and using a carrier having <=70μm and a maximum magnetization of <=70 emu/g.</p> |
