PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical information processor capable of easily and accurately judging the occurrence of a fogging of negative film. SOLUTION: This processor is equipped with a light source 34 and optical sensors 33A and 33B in order to read the optical information of a 1st data part or a 2nd data part formed out of the area of the negative film 1 where an image frame is formed, and equipped with a controller 4 discriminating that the fogging occurs on the negative film 1 when the transmissivity of a light beam measured by either sensor 33A or 33B at the time of carrying the negative film 1 is low to such an extent that the occurrence of a fogging can be judged.
