PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock capable of eliminating the fluctuation of the movement of clock hands by eliminating a rapid change in the movement of clock hands after adjusting the clock hands. SOLUTION: The clock is provided with a generator for transducing a mechanical energy being transmitted from a spring via a wheel train into an electrical energy, and a rotary control device for controlling the rotary period of the generator. The rotary control device is provide with an up/down counter for comparing a reference signal fs with a rotary detection signal FG1 of a generator 2 for adjusting a strong brake time and weak brake time of the generator, and a clock hand movement fluctuation suppression device 200 for changing to clock hand movement fluctuation suppression control including a time when the weak braking can always be applied within one period when it is set that the strong braking can be applied over one period of the reference signal fs after adjusting the clock hands. Since full brake control for continuing to apply strong braking has been eliminated, the rapid change in the movement of clock hand is eliminated, thus reducing the fluctuation of the clock hands.
