PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit unification of drying of a grain by a method, wherein moisture measuring function and mixing function are integrated to sufficiently measure the moisture of the grain accurately and mix the grain. SOLUTION: A specimen grain drying device is provided with a plurality of pieces of sample vessels 4, attached to a chain circulated pivotally in a horizontal plane 10 which is set substantially horizontally, a grain charging position, a drying position, a moisture measuring position 21 and a grain discharging position, which are arranged respectively on the horizontal plane 10 along the moving passage of the sample vessels 4, and a moisture measuring device 44, provided at a position different from the horizontal plane 10. in this case, a discharging mechanism, taking grain out of the sample vessel 4 under the condition of stand by after passing the drying position of the same, transfer devices 40, 41, 43, which transfer the grain, taken out by the discharging mechanism to the moisture measuring device 44 while mixing the same, and a charging duct 47 for returning excessive grain in the moisture measuring device 44 to the receiving port 22 of the sample vessel 4 under the standby condition, are provided at the moisture measuring position 21.
