PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an orifice type steam trap with less stream leakage that can discharge large quantity of low-pressure condensate. SOLUTION: A small type orifice 5 and the entrance at the lower end part of the communication route 6 are formed below the lower part 7 of the fluid passage, respectively in this steam trap. A switching valve 14 is attached on the entrance 2 side of the communication route 6 possible to move freely in vertical. The leakage of stream can be suppressed by the condensate to flow into the small type orifice 5 with priority. When large quantity of low-pressure condensate flows in, the large quantity of condensate can be discharged quickly by pressing down the switching valve 14 and opening the communication route 6.
