PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a significantly efficient and low-cost steam turbine usable even in a small facility without a cooling device for a bearing. SOLUTION: A rotating wheel 2 is housed in a casing 1 which is provided with a steam inlet 1-2 and a steam outlet 1-3, and incorporated with a rotation axle 4 supported by bearings on both ends. A plurality of blades placed to the hollow rotation axle have composite sine waves with different amplitudes and ranges, and an effective breadth of one-dimensional configuration. The blades are fixed to the outer periphery of the axle at incidence points, with the both end surfaces enclosed with discs to constitute a bucket shape. An air flow function is provided by making holes 5 aslope in parallel with the blade wings between attachment positions on the hollow rotation axle 4. The blades that rotate by receiving steam pressure convert the pressure to rotating power at the axle through rotating integrally with centrifugal flow inertia applied on both sides of the blades. Outside air circulating the hollow portion of the rotation axle prevents the axle from being heated up and thus protects the bearing, while cooling steam through being supplied incessantly in the steam outlet.
