SOLUTION: An interpolation section 4 calculates each interpolation pixel value 5 at an interpolation point from pixel values of pixels in the same color placed in a prescribed interpolation area including the interpolation point, a correction component calculation section 6 calculates a pixel correction component 7 at the interpolation point on the basis of a pixel value of a plurality of pixels placed in a correction area of a wider range including the correction area 12 used by the interpolation section 4 and a correction section 8 uses this pixel correction component 7 to correct each interpolation pixel value 5.</p> |
