PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system not required to set preliminarily a photographing point, and capable of storing all the time an image suitable the photographing point to be presented. SOLUTION: A traveling view field is photographed to judge the presence of scene change. When the scene change exists, a representative image is selected out of images judged as the same scene, it is compared with a stored image data, and it is stored together with a position and an advancing direction of own vehicle at the time of photographing and a photographed time, when no coincident image data with the representative image exists. The image optimal for presentation, for example, the image most suitable for the position and the advancing direction of the own vehicle, image change in a point thereof and a present time, is selected to be presented out of the stored image data, based on the present position and the advancing direction of the own vehicle, and the present time. |
