PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make equal an influence to the association of an event even when any event (or plural features) are inputted in the case of the features of the same kind that the event can have. SOLUTION: An abstract feature layer 23 is provided between an event neuron 20 expressing each of events and a feature layer 12 composed of feature neurons expressing respective features. The abstract feature layer 23 is provided with a neuron for each of abstract features formed by merging one or plural features pertaining to a common concept. The ignition output of the feature neuron corresponding to a feature pertaining to the same abstract feature is inputted to the same abstract feature neuron. The abstract feature neuron merges inputs from the respective feature neurons and ignites when these inputs are suited to the abstract feature of that event. This ignition output is inputted through an associated control part 22 to the event neuron 20. The influence of a feature pertaining to the same abstract feature is made uniform by the abstract feature neuron and transferred to the event neuron 20.
