<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating cover for piping that can apply a waterproof and moisture proof material easily and surely at a work executing site without requiring high level of skills. SOLUTION: This heat insulating cover covers the outer circumference of piping 1 with a cylindrical body 2 made of foaming heat insulating material and coats the outside of the cylindrical body 2 with a heat insulating waterproof sheet 6. In this case, the cylindrical body 2 made of styrene foam and the like is divided equally into two parts vertically in structure. On the one vertical section of the equally divided bodies, a protruded line is provided and on the other vertical section, a stepped part to be fit to the protruded line is provided. The cylindrical body 2 can be completed fitting the protruded line with the stepped part on the divided halves. On the other hand, heat insulating waterproof sheet 6 is made of a belt type vinyl chloride sheet that is fixed with both-sides adhesive tape 3 pasted at four places.</p> |
