<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect used train tickets into the main body of an automatic ticket examination by discriminating whether an inserted train ticket is in the relation of an outward or inward trip train ticket to an inserted zone ticket. SOLUTION: The outward trip train ticket and outward trip express ticket of train tickets required for a trip to a station B, which is the entrance/exit station of a zone, and a zone ticket are inserted to a slot 1 of a main body (a) of the automatic ticket examination machine installed in the station B. In a separating part 3, the outward trip train ticket is first fed, read by a magnetic head H1 and held by a stopper S3, the outward trip express ticket is read and held by a stopper S2 and the zone ticket is read and held by a stopper S1. The CPU of a controller C discriminates the relation of the three tickets on the basis of read data. It is decided that the outward trip train ticket and the outward trip express ticket are used, and these tickets are collected through a wing W into a ticket box 5. The zone ticket is ejected to a takeout port 2 and returned.</p> |
