摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an IP packet transmitting device with less number of laser light sources by storing inputted Internet protocol(IP) packets in an optical path pay-load part and inputting an optical path signal where optical path overhead data is added to an optical path route distributing means. SOLUTION: The inputted IP packets are stored in the optical path pay-load part and the optical path signal where optical path overhead data is added is inputted to the optical path route distributing means. In the device, the IP packets taken-out by a physical layer/IP converting part 50 from optional signals which are inputted from input transmitting lines 11-1 to 11-3 consisting of an optional physical medium (optical fibers or the like) are distributed by an IP packet routing part 101 by IP packet unit. Then the IP packets to be inputted to an IP/optical path converting part 301-1 is previously decided to be outputted to an optical path/OTM converting part 212-1 by the optical path route distributing means 400 and to be carried to the IP packet transmitting device.
