PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inverse influence caused by heating of a PC card upon the PC card itself or electronic equipment concerning a card connector for electrically connecting the PC card and the electronic equipment while supporting the PC card so as to freely insert/eject it. SOLUTION: Concerning a card connector 1 for electrically connecting a PC card C and the electronic equipment while supporting the PC card C so as to freely insert/eject it, this connector is especially provided with a detecting means 6 for detecting the surface temperature of the supported PC card C and a transmitting means 7 for transmitting obtained temperature information to the said electronic equipment. In this case, it is desired the transmitting means 7 transmits the said temperature information through a transition board 33 for electrically connecting the PC card C and the said electronic equipment while being supported by the card connector 1 to the said electronic equipment. Thus, heating of the PC card can be stopped before the inverse influence caused by heating occurs. |
