PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emit the red light of high color purity by blending a specified quantity of pyrane derivative as a guest compound in the quinolinol metal complex. SOLUTION: A pyrane derivative expressed with a formula is blended as a guest compound at a ratio more than 1 mol% and less than 10 mol% in relation to the quinolinol metal complex. In the formula, R1, R2 separately express a hydrogen atom, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a straight chain or branch alkyl group, and the aryl group and the alkyl group having a substituent group can be used. R3 means a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a carboxyl group, a monovalent group derived from the carboxyl group, or a straight chain or branch alkyl group, and an alkyl group having a substituent group can be used. R1 and/or R2 includes a nitrogen atom coupled with them, or includes a nitrogen atom and a benzene ring coupled with the nitrogen atom so as to form a cyclic structure.
