BAND WIDTH VARIABLE DIGITAL FILTER BANK

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit filtering flexibly corresponding to the signals of plural different band widths while using a maximum thinning digital filter bank. SOLUTION: Two maximum thinning digital filter banks 1 and 2 are parallel arranged while having frequency characteristics to alternately arrange the transition areas of respective sub-bands so as not to overlap passing bands, and outputs filtered by the respective digital filter banks are synthesized so that the signal of the band width wider than that of the sub-band can be filtered. Besides, the passing/blocking of the signal on the sub-band of the respective digital filter banks 1 and 2 is controlled and its combination is variable so that the signals of plural different band widths can be filtered.
