<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency of a digital recording/reproducing device, to provide a plurality of display methods of respective pieces of data and to realize a selection operation corresponding to the taste of a user. SOLUTION: In the device, moving picture data, still picture data and sound data are stored in a data recording medium by a single photographing or recording unit. Recording information in the data recording medium is read and data stores in a data storage medium is displayed according to recording information. A display form selection control means 14 controlling a system so that one arbitrary display form is selected out of a plurality of types of display forms to display storage information, for example the type of data, the number of data of every type, and the date when data is generated or stored, in the order that data stored in the data storage medium are generated or in the order that data are stored in the data recording medium is installed.</p> |
