摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance design/development efficiency of tire while predicting the tire performance being used actually with the effect of slip angle and camber angle being taken into account. SOLUTION: A tire model is generated from a tire design plan, pavement conditions are inputted by selecting the coefficient of frictionμupon generation of a pavement model, initial conditions for imparting an angular speed to the tire are set and then design variables and restrictive conditions are determined (100-104). Subsequently, a model having design variables varied by a unit amountΔri is determined (106-110) and tire performance is predicted by imparting conditions for calculating deformation of the tire model and imparting a slip angle or a camber angle (112). Sensitivity is operated for each target function, restrictive conditions and design variables, a predictive value of variation in the design variables for maximizing the target function is determined while predicting the tire performance and taking into account of the restrictive conditions, and the operation is repeated until the value of the target function is converged (114-124). Shape of the tire is determined based on the design variables when the value of the target function is converged to a predicted value.
