PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of electromagnetic stop valves, which switch the summer circuit and winter circuit of an outdoor heat exchanger to each other, and to simplify a header pipe. SOLUTION: A heat pump type air conditioner is provided with a compressor which is driven by means of a gas engine and an outdoor heat exchanger 19, to which a refrigerant from a compressor and the engine oil of the gas engine are circulated. The heat exchanger 19 is provided with many fins and refrigerant pipes 52 and oil pipes 53 both of which are passed through the fins. The oil pipes 53 are composed of summer pipes 55, through which the oil is made to flow, when the air conditioner is operated for cooling and winter pipes 54 through which the oil is made to flow when the air conditioner is operated for heating. The winter pipes 55 and 54 are formed so as to make the temperature of the oil flowing through the summer pipes 55, when the air conditioner is operated for cooling lower than that of the oil flowing through the winter pipes 54, when the air conditioner is operated for heating. In addition, a winter circuit 61 which guides the oil to the winter pipes 54 and a summer circuit 62 which guides the oil to the summer pipes 55 are provided. Moreover, an electromagnetic stop valve 64 which is closed when the air conditioner is operated for cooling and is opened, when the air conditioner is operated for heating is only connected to the summer circuit 62.
