PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of selectively transferring main control means to a plurality of states by causing a player to just operate stop switches in an operation mode as notified in a single unit game and, even when the player fails to operate in the notified operation mode, preventing the main control means from transferring to an improper state.SOLUTION: The main control means sets any of a plurality of main-side states as a transfer destination, and is configured to, when stop switches are operated in a specific operation mode in a specific unit game, transfer to a main-side state as a transfer destination candidate and, each time a prescribed trigger occurs, change the transfer destination candidate to a different main-side state.
