Process for detecting and producing tempered channels in thermally loaded molds produced by a molding process such as laser sintering comprises determining the number, course and the shape of the channels in a first theoretical phase using thermoanalysis, converting the results into CNC data in a second phase, and regulating a material-application device using this data in a third phase. Preferred Features: The course of the tempered channels can follow in molds of any shape. The channels can have any cross-section and the cross-section is not constant.
