In a medicinal preparation for treating arthrosis, arthritis and other rheumatic joint disorders, comprising a suspension of coated magnetic nanoparticles (I) which are injected into the affected joint and heat the joint on application of an alternating magnetic field. In a medicinal preparation for treating arthrosis, arthritis and other rheumatic joint disorders, comprising a suspension of coated magnetic nanoparticles (I) which are injected into the affected joint and heat the joint on application of an alternating magnetic field. (I) consists of: (a) an iron oxide-containing core; (b) an inner shell having cationic groups, to which radionuclides and agents showing cytotoxic/cytostatic activity at the induction heating temperature are bonded; and optionally (c) at least one outer shell having neutral and/or anionic groups.
