An iron fastener which is initially fixed to a portfolio without any accompanying rings ironware - which may be defined later - and consists essentially of a rectangular seat (1) ovalized on its extremities (1-A), with a concavous bearing (2) and longitudinal, parallel and equidistant shoulders (3), with claw-like encasements (4) for the rings ironware (FA) on one side of the seat (1), and on the opposite side two juxtapositioning latches (5) and a metal swinging brim (6) which fasten or release the ironware, being each of the two ovalized extremities (1-A) provided with a centralized lowered ring (7), and an identical ring (7) onto the center of the seat, for fastening the seat (1) to the portfolio.
