The invention herein relates to implementation of basic call set-up for GSM/UMTS core networks, including supplementary services CFU, CFB, CFNREA, CFNRY, CW, HOLD and MPTY, with transporting Media Gateway address and logica l point coding and framing information in a forward direction in cellular networks with separation of call control and bearer control. Call set-up is described in various traffic cases.
