FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a brewing unit which contains the brewing chamber, comprising at least two brewing chamber portions movable one with respect to the other, and a capsule guide for guiding a capsule from a capsule insertion aperture to a brewing position. Capsule guide comprises a pair of capsule guiding channels, configured and arranged for slidingly engaging a flange of the capsule and a respective capsule retention member, arranged at the lower end of each capsule guiding channel for retaining the capsule in the brewing position before closing the brewing chamber and for disengaging the capsule when the brewing chamber portions are moved apart after completion of a brewing cycle.EFFECT: claimed design of the brewing unit provides simple and reliable operation, excluding incorrect operation of the device, in particular capsule extraction due to its deformation after beverage preparation.19 cl, 36 dwg |
