<p>A hot-fillable container (10) having an opposed pair of collapse panels (32, 34) that move inwardly to accommodate vacuum-induced volumetric shrinkage of the container (10). The container (10) includes a sidewall (12) having front and rear label panels (24, 26) each of a predetermined radius of curvature (R1) and each of the predetermined arcuate extend. A pair of arcuate collapse panels (32, 34) are located between said front and rear label panels (24, 26), and each has a predetermined arcuate extend and an inset grip region (48) affording facile handling of the container (10). Desirable structural parameters are disclosed.</p> |
