<p>The invention concerns a heat engine spark plug, comprising a metal shell (2) with an externally threaded end part to be screwed in a cylinder head tapped hole, the shell bearing internally an insulating body (4) traversed by a central electrode (5) designed to be connected to a high voltage, an annular chamber (10) being defined by an internal surface (11) at the threaded end portion (3) of the shell and the outer surface of the insulating body (4), the spark plug being further equipped with at least a pressure sensor (C), and being arranged to subject said sensor to the pressure of an associated combustion chamber when the plug is installed. The pressure sensor (C) is implanted in the threaded end portion (3) of the shell defining the annular chamber (10), radially outside the internal surface (11) of said end portion such that the geometry of the annular chamber (10) is not modified by the presence of the sensor.</p> |
