An acoustically insulating film (I) for the production of laminated safety glass (II) comprises 50-80 wt.% PVB (partially acetalized polyvinyl alcohol), 20-50 wt.% of a plasticizer containing 30-70 wt.% (w.r.t. (plasticizer content) of at least one polyalkylene glycol or derivative. An acoustically insulating film (I) for the production of laminated safety glass (II) comprises (A) 50-80 wt.% PVB (partially acetalized polyvinyl alcohol) (B) 20-50 wt.% of a plasticizer containing (B1) 30-70 wt.% (w.r.t.
