SOLUTION: In this switched mode power supply with a transformer, a switching transistor T1 that is connected in series with primary coil winding W1 of the transformer, a primary side control circuit DR, and a secondary side adjustment stage SR, the control input side of the switching transistor T1 is connected to a first switch T2, a second switch T4 is arranged between the adjustment stage SR and an operation voltage UB, and the first switch T2 is turned off simultaneously, when a second switch T4 is turned off.
