Microprobe system comprises a self-bearing device (10) with an adjustable holder (16) for an adapter (20) which supports a manipulator (30) which runs by means of a drive unit (34) relative to the coordinate system of the self-bearing device; a microfiber electrode provided with sensor surfaces for deviating neuronal activity signals; and a macro-therapy electrode arranged on the manipulator. The electrode runs in a preferred direction (R) by means of a probe unit (S). Preferred Features: The microfiber electrode has conductors embedded in quartz glass.
