INCLINOMETER AND USE OF A SEMICONDUCTOR SENSOR AS INCLINOMETER

The invention relates to a inclinometer which contains a semiconductor sensor (2) with a surface (3) that is sensitive in a capacitive manner. A container (5) for receiving a measuring liquid (6) is embodied in the surface (3) area. The surface areas of the surface (3) are selectively scanned in order to detect areas where the surface (3) is covered with the measuring liquid (6). Based on said results, an evaluation device (13) determines the position and orientation pertaining to the surface (8) of the measuring liquid (6) in relation to the surface (3) of the semiconductor sensor (1), whereby said surface is a measure for the inclination of the inclinometer.
